- I am a 32 Year old woman who has found herself in a rut! I am not understood by my family or myself for that matter! I am going to take 365 days to try to get back to knowing myself, trying to love myself, and get an all around understanding of what I want from life outside of everyone elses needs! 2014 should be a year to remember!

Gods Grace

When one wakes up in the morning, and they look around that person might think about the fact that they have no money. They might think another day at this horrible job. They might ponder why me? They begin the day by taking a hot shower, eating a fairly decent breakfast, packing their lunch, and getting off to work at what they think is a menial job.
They walk by a homeless person that has no home, no money, no food, no shower, and no prospects for the future at this point.
CAN YOU TELL ME AT WHAT POINT DOES A PERSON STOP, AND THINK THEY HAVE
GODS GRACE?
Sandra is late once again because she was in the best possible sleep that she had been able to receive in weeks. She dreamed of white sandy beaches, and gorgeous blue ocean waters.
Sandra wakes to find that she is late. She is rushing around frantically, fussing, and yelling at no one except herself.
As she gets on the highway there is traffic, and she hangs her head with disappointment. when she gets to the front of the accident she realizes that it is an accident with a car that looks faintly like the one she is usually behind each morning Monday thru Friday because if you believe it or not many people take the same route everyday. If you take the time to look you see the same people on the side of you each morning.
CAN YOU TELL ME AT WHAT POINT SANDRA IF AT ALL REALIZED SHE WAS IN GODS GRACE?
You see we, I mean you, and me! We think that everything around us is bigger than life itself. What we are going through can not get any worse, but the truth of the matter is folks is that it could get alot worse!!!!!!
As you are in
GODS GRACE!!!!
Daily tasks, trials, tests, triumphs, etc.......... It all works out to what God knows that we can handle.
You should always remember that there is someone somewhere that is going through something more plaguing than you are at this very moment.
But,, and I STRESS BUT, by/With GODS GRACE You have either been sheltered from the worst or you will be guided by him through the storm.
Either way it will be by......
GODS GRACE!
2 Corinthians 12:9 - And He said to me, “My grace is sufficient for you, for My strength is made perfect in weakness.” Therefore most gladly I will rather boast in my infirmities, that the power of Christ may rest upon me.
Ephesians 6:24 - Grace be with all those who love our Lord Jesus Christ in sincerity. Amen.
Hebrews 4:16 - Let us therefore come boldly to the throne of grace, that we may obtain mercy and find grace to help in time of need

Sabbath Day
Sabbath Day! What is it really? It all started in the beginning of the Bible with the book of Genesis when our God decided to rest on the seventh day of making this great Universe we call home even though he did not need the rest he took the time out; Is this by chance that that the Bible starts out this way, I DON'T THINK SO! God does not make mistakes he only creates events in which to use some how for Glory!
The first time, and not the last time the word Sabbath is fully mentioned is after Moses brought the Israelites out of Egypt. It was geared toward what was named the Ten Commandments!
I was raised with the principle that you were supposed to observe the Sabbath as it was a Holy day!
It is 2012, and I have chosen to start the tradition with my family, and teach them values! Why we should observe the Sabbath, Why it is important to
god as well as ourselves, and why we need time to reflect with the Lord!
Now the problem that I have been coming across or rather the thing that I notice with others are the mixed up notions that they have about Observing Sabbath! Take a couple of comments that I have come across:
1) I am not Jewish, I am of another Christian Religion!
Answer - ok, really, wow
2) Sabbath is Old School, nobody does that anymore
Answer- ok, really, darn
3) No one really knows when the last day of the week! So I just go to church on Sunday plus I am too busy I have kids!
Answer - The last day of the week is Saturday, and it does matter , to God!
Weekly co- workers ask me what I am doing for the weekend, and every week I tell them we observe Sabbath! Usually once a week I am hit by a person that is just confused on why we would put our family through what they think is just a boring day of prayer, Reading the Bible, and resting!
I kindly try to explain to them that my household look forward to Sabbath, and that my kiddos have a blast with the conversations that we have as well as the games that we play!
Sabbath is about getting renewed with God, learning your Bible, resting, refreshing your spirit, and about loving your family enough to want the same for their bodies!
God does do not just place Sabbath in the Old Testament of the Bible
For the Israelites to follow! Jesus speaks about the Sabbath in the New Testament.
We really need to understand and study our Bibles! It really is said what we are coming as Christians when we believe that we do not have to abide or we can pick/choose which of Gods options to follow!
